No less that 3 weeks after Apple showed off iTunes 7, an update has been released.
iTunes 7.0.1 is available via software update for around 25MB.
iTunes 7.0.1 addresses stability and performance issues with Cover Flow, CD importing, iPod syncing, and more.

of course, the update didnt fix anything but made it all worse again. I updated to itunes 7.0 and it wrecked a perfectly fine application. Then i purchased a video for some odd reaon, and eveything started working. then, i get the update to 7.0.1 and low and behold, i amm back to the same problems as before.
the problems: if tracks are played in order itunes crashes in between songs. if i scroll forward in a song, itunes crashes. if i raise the volume, itunes crashes. if i select anothr song hile one is playing, itunes crashes. if i select a song while i am not playing anything itunes crashes.
i have a 250 gig external harddrive that i have my song files on (all AIFF) and some of the overage goes onto the hardrive for the g5, but itunes wont play the songs on the external hard drive.
hmm. i thought apple wasw the best. . apparently they are goign the route of the other guys. considering bill gates owns 20% of Apple maybe a consipricy to get microsoft onto mac.
