Apple to Open Rome Store March 31?

Setteb.it reports that Apple’s first Store in mainland Europe will open on March 31.

The reports points towards the Director of the RomaEst Shopping Centre who claims that the brand new shopping centre will open March 31.

The director also claimed that Apple will open its store on the same day at 9am.

EMSNow claims that Nanya will begin shipping the first batches of circuit boards in “early April.”

QuickTime Gains HD Export

iLounge has spotted a new export function in the latest round of update to QuickTime.

The new export function called “Export to Apple TV” allows users to export video compatible with Apple TV.

But of notable interest is the fact that the Export function creates both full DVD quality 720×404 videos but also 1280×720 videos, the latter being a form of high definition called 720p.
