As rumoured just a few weeks ago, Apple has officially sent out invitations to select members of the media. The invite is for a special event to be held at NAB on the 15th April 2007.

The invite reads:
Please join us for a special presentation at NAB in The Venetian Hotel and Casino on Sunday, April 15, at 11:00 a.m. Seating is limited for this invitation-only event.

It looks like anyone can register their interest for the event, you say. Yeah, of course, that’s what they mean by “invitation only.” For a second there I almost thought that you would actually need an invitation. Stupid me.

You make a valid point but the website appears to allow anyone to RSVP, invitation or not.
